My shame is much and obvious.
You’ve invaded every part of me.
You clame to care, but your actions speek volumes.
Louder than your words are the things that you’ve forced on this body,
And they show your hate of the identity you stole from me.
My tears are never seen by you
As what they truly represent.
You say I’m wrong, and then wonder why I’m down.
Through all you do, there is a sense of ill belonging,
And I have to wonder if, deep down, you want the identity you stole from me.
Your hate of everything is obvious.
It reflects like the setting sun’s light.
You know nothing about me, nore do I think you want to.
I’m glad, because I don’t want you here anyway,
Not when you are a danger to us, with your killing of the identity you stole from me.
I am here, in this space of healing,
To regain what I have lost.
There are places I know where you will never set foot,
Not because I hate you, not because I don’t think you’re worthy, but because you have no regard for other people’s ways of life,
And you want to destroy things like the identity you stole from me.
I will join in the song of the mother,
To reconnect with my true home,
And by you, there is nothing that can be done
To stop this loss from vanishing, nothing you can do to prevent me from being,
Because tonight, I reclaim the identity you stole from me.
