*** yes, she did have help to write this. She's nine. Nine-year-olds make mistakes. That's ok.

Just yesterday, we got back from a sports camp where we had big memory gaps for the first time. That really freeked Maria out but there was a nurse there who knew what she was doing and she’d met multiples before, so she got what was going on. We’d switch when we were scared and stuff and some of us said who we were and she was really nice about it. I really liked her but I didn’t come out or anything. I just watched from the inside. I felt safer that way, cause then nobody could get on us for not being Maria like some people outside camp did.
There was a talent show there on the day before the one when we were supposed to leave to go back home. Michele acted like Maria and sang a song in it because Maria felt really sick that day and didn’t even do the sports or anything. But some of the other older kids slept that whole day cause the outside adults let us, and then Maria went outside and had dinner. Naomi came out during dinner and Maria lost time when she did that cause we’d been stressed out with all the sensory overload stuff that week, then Piper and Michele took over until the talent show happened. After dinner and before the talent show those two got to pet some kittens, then Michele did her thing up on the stage. Then Maria came out again and didn’t remember anything that happened after she walked into dinner, so the nurse and one of the camp directors filled her in on everything, and we went back to our room.
When we got back to our room Sheleenna came out and was scared, and the nurse kept telling her she was safe and stuff until she calmed down. Then she tried to help us get into sleepy feelings and it kind of worked but we were switching a lot, so she started patting us on the shoulder like we were outside children. I think she was a little tired herself cause after a while she kind of laid her head on our shoulder when our two bodies were laying down, it’s kind of hard to describe, but it wasn’t scary or grose or anything, it helped all of us feel safe. We closed our eyes and kind of drifted a bit, not sleepy just kind of dozing and she lifted herself up really slowly like she knew we were still kind of awake. We laid there for a bit and then she laid herself down on the other end of the bed, kind of half on and half off it and dozed with us a bit. Jaden came out and woke up a little cause he had a bad dream and she told him he was safe, then one of the babies who couldn’t talk came out and she kind of held our head while the baby was out.
Adeleama came out after that cause we had to go to the bathroom and she has walking and talking problems. She can do them but it’s really hard on her even though the body itself can do them with no problem or anything, but the nurse helped her with getting to the bathroom and walking back to the bedroom and stuff like that, and didn’t judge her for her other things going on. I think she was amazing with all of us and I wish more people were like that. She was really sweet and treated all of us like we were important, and not just Maria. I like it when people care about everyone and not just one of us. It makes me feel happy. Why don’t more people do stuff like that, do you think?
