Adeline -- Why I Say, Time To Breathe

Before Adealia and Adeline became one, and I, Adeleama,  was born, they both wrote many things. This one was one that was written when we were with our last therapist, just last summer.

I can't speek most of the time, I have found, because of fear. Our therapist was right when she told us that. This is why I say, time to breathe.

I remember the first time I could speek out loud. I also remember the first time I could sit still. Both times were after I was breathed with. This is why I say, time to breathe.

There is another one of us who can't talk at all, can't walk well and lately shows signs that she suffers with the same thing I still do. Nobody's figured that out yet on the outside. I have to keep things from getting out of control for her, like they did with me. That is why I say, time to breathe.

There is a need for these things across everyone here, and yet our therapist doesn't seem to be picking that up. I am 14 years old and because Carron had an autistic child, it falls on me and Maria to do what she used to do, which is relaxation, grounding and breathing. It's up to me to meet that need in myself and that hurts so much, but I have no other way to do it. That is why I say, time to breathe.
