Various -- We Did A Brave Thing

We’re some of the children in the community, and this is about a thing that we did that was brave for us.

***

Tonight we sent an email to someone who we felt hurt by because of things they’d said about us. The email was where we talked about that and told them how hurt and scared we were and also a lot of other things about the issue that we don’t want to show the whole world. We asked them in the email if it could be fixed and we didn’t scream or rant or yell in it at all. We also didn’t erase it after we were done.

We said things like, “We feel like we aren’t seen by you,” in stead of, “We aren’t seen by you,” and we also said other things like that to make sure they didn’t feel like we were trying to hurt them or tell them they did something on purpose when they might not have meant to do it.

Now we’re really a lot of things. We’re scared cause we don’t know what they’re going to say when they reply to it. We’re hopeful they’ll hear what we have to say. We’re happy we could do all that without making the body shake or have a panic attack. We’ve never felt this before, but some of us think we’re proud of ourselves for doing what we’ve just done.

We just hope it goes ok and that this thing gets fixed soon, cause it’s messing with a lot of us, and really really really messing with our body’s sleeping.

Update:

The situation was resolved three days later, and the friendship was only made stronger by its resolution.
